Blood viscosity testing is provided by our centralized lab, enabling clinicians to monitor changes in the amount of solids in their patient’s blood. Viscosity is a measure of the ability of blood to flow and monitors how much physical injury the blood can cause to the arterial walls as well as changes in the amount of work the heart has to perform in order to pump blood throughout the body.

Our lab is located in southeastern Pennsylvania and receives blood samples from physician practices from anywhere in the U.S. except for New York, Alaska, and Hawaii. Samples are processed on the day that they are received, and data returned two business days thereafter.
